Laserforce Dominates 2010 ILTA Golden Phasor Awards
Las Vegas, NV April 28th, 2010: Today the International Laser Tag Association (ILTA) announced its 2010 Golden Phasor Award Winners. In a stunning sweep, Laserforce operators took home three out of the seven awards!
In the Best TV/Cable Commercial category Xtreme Adventures of Lutz, FL took home the prize. From the ILTA website:
"When you only have 30-60 seconds to advertise your business to the public, every second counts. This video had a lot of competition and stood out enough to get the award. "
In the Best Radio Spot category Laser Lite Laser Tag of Bloomington, IN beat the competition.
"Radio spots can be a hit or a miss for your business depending on your audience. LaserLite has had much success with their radio spot and conveys its information and stays family friendly at the same time."
"The annual Operator of the Year award honors a facility owner or operator who exemplifies not only quality in their facility, but also has used their knowledge and abilities to improve the quality of life for his/her employees and the local community at large."
Laserforce's very own Jarett Waite, owner and operator of Laser Mania in St. George, UT, took home the top honor. This marks the second year a Laserforce operator has won this award as Davor Franicevich of Laser Tag of Baton Rouge took home the 2009 Operator of the Year award. From the ILTA website:
"Jarett Waite took over this business from his father-in-law and has helped to make it a thriving business. Not only is Jarett looking to expand and open another facility, but also spends time to help educate others in the laser tag industry based on Laser Mania's experiences. Jarett has been quoted a number of times in trade publications such as Replay Magazine and has spoken at both Laser Tag Conventions.
For these reasons, Jarett was selected for the 2010 Golden Phaser Award for being Operator of the Year."
